Frankfurt (Germany), December 13, 2010 – Crytek GmbH (Crytek) announced its cooperation with Tencent Games (Tencent) today, as Tencent has obtained the exclusive license in China to operate Crytek’s next generation FPS game entitled Warface® (Chinese title to be named).
As the stunning visual effects and thrilling game-play experience brought by Crytek’s Crysis® series remain fresh on players’ mind, Crytek is developing Warface, a shooting game powered by the advanced engine CryENGINE® 3. The military shooter in its near future setting offers a cinematic experience with next generation visuals, AI and physics of AAA quality based on Crytek’s proprietary CryENGINE® 3 game development solution. The game provides Chinese gamers with an extensive PVE universe full of dramatic multiplayer co-op missions, a full set of class based PVP modes and maps and will run smoothly in China’s PC and internet gaming environment.
