Crytek’s Frank Vitz to discuss the future of games at B3 Biennial of the Moving Image 2015

Crytek Creative Director Frank Vitz will take part in a panel discussion entitled ‘Games, Taking Over?’ at the forthcoming B3 Biennial of the Moving Image 2015, right in our home town of Frankfurt.

Crytek Creative Director Frank Vitz will take part in a panel discussion entitled ‘Games, Taking Over?’ at the forthcoming B3 Biennial of the Moving Image 2015, right in our home town of Frankfurt. The international event gathers experts from across the creative disciplines together and the overall theme for conference this year will be “Expanding Senses: Experiencing with all Senses and Changing boundaries”.

The panel will discuss what is changing for the games industry, how cross-media developments are expanding what is technically possible and how these changes will impact on games, other media and ultimately, the audience.  The panel also includes Christopher Schmitz from Quantic Dream and games writer, producer and lecturer Wolfgang Walk.

Boasting a wealth of experience in digital effects, Frank's career so far has seen him working on movies such as Stargate and the X-Men series, as well as game projects that include Dragon Age, Battlefield, and the Ignite and Frostbite game engines.

Other guests appearing at the conference  include legendary music producer and visual artist Brian Eno, Mark Reiss, a writer on the Simpsons, and BBC Drama Production Manager Caroline Skinner, whose credits include Doctor Who.
