Software Engineer for Movie System - Interactive Systems - CRYENGINE
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Software Engineer, to support the CRYENGINE team in our Frankfurt, Germany studio.
Join the Interactive Systems team as a Software Engineer to be part of the movie system back- and frontend development. Improve existing features and their usability in an agile environment. Bring in your high-level architectural skills to help with the redesign and get your low-level optimization skills challenged. The variety of connected system will also allow you to get a broad overview of the whole engine. We are looking for individuals with an open mindset, which do not hesitate to expand their horizon and want to shape the future by contributing high-quality solutions to CRYENGINE.

- Contribute to the development of CRYENGINE cinematic back- and frontend.
- Implement and maintain new features.
- Improve existing functionality.
- Contribute to maintenance and improvements of performance critical implementations.
- Collaborate with the UX department to improve the user experience of the editor.
- Ensure the reliability and stability of interactive systems.
- Document implementation details.
- Provide support and training to internal and external developers.
- Collaborate closely and effectively with content creators and software engineers on the requirements and design of the movie pipeline.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong C++ knowledge.
- Good software engineering, debugging and profiling skills.
- Programming experience with cinematic systems development.
- Experience in the field of cinematic and movie editors.
- Strong math skills including trigonometry, calculus, and linear algebra.
- Experience with any game engines, preferably CRYENGINE.
- Eager to learn.
- Good English communication and writing skills.
- Team player and self-driven.
- Willing to relocate to Frankfurt am Main area, Germany.
- Experience with multithreading.
- Knowledge of the Qt framework.
- Understanding the principles of user experience.
