Senior Game Designer - Enemies

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Enemy Designer to work on Crysis 4 (Working Title) in our Frankfurt, Germany based studio.
 
As a Senior Enemy Designer, you will be responsible for designing enemy types and AI behavior in line with the project's gameplay goals. You will work closely with other specializations such as Gameplay Design, AI Programming and Character Art to bring compelling and memorable enemies to life.

2. If you are already living in a European Union member state, we are able to offer you a permanent work contract and allow you to work remotely as an employee from there. 

3. If you are interested in full-time remote work in any other country outside of the European Union, we can offer you a freelance contract arrangement.
Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of enemy types, behavior and balancing from pitch to finish.
  • Play an active role in enemy implementation, working with other departments to ensure all required resources are scheduled and delivered as intended.
  • Run sanity check on game feature ideas with relevant stakeholders to get an overview for dependencies, restrictions and possibilities.
  • Create and maintain design documentation.
  • Test the game regularly to iterate on enemy-related features.
Requirements
  • AAA development background with at least 2 shipped titles.
  • Proven experience designing enemy types and AI combat behavior for action games.
  • Solid understanding of player motivation and game design theory. 
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. 
  • Deep passion for gaming, preferably FPS sandbox games.
