Crytek awarded as top-innovator

Frankfurt, June 26, 2009 – Crytek GmbH is one of the 100 most innovative middle-sized companies in Germany. This is the conclusion reached by a panel of experts during a recent study held in line with a nationwide and interbranch comparison between different companies. And Crytek convinced especially with its custom innovation management. Lothar Sp?th, retired prime minister of Baden-W?rttemberg, handed the coveted award to the Hessian enterprisers on Friday evening in the course of a ceremony at "G?stehaus Petersberg" in K?nigswinter. The mentor of the initiative for middle-sized companies appreciated the credentails Crytek showed in the fields "innovation-supporting top-management", "innovation-climate", "innovative processes and organisation", "innovation-marketing" and "innovation-success". Boasting an exemplary creative climate with modern and innovative processes – Crytek, who deal with real time-graphics for a widespread selection of products, such as golf simulators and first person shooters,  took first prize at the "Top 100" analysis with their revolutionary "CryENGINE" technology, which sets completely new benchmarks for computer graphics. The "CryEngine" is used for a wide variety of applications, not only for games , but also visualization, simulation and training, which form a newly emerging field dubbed "serious games". In addition to Frankfurt, Crytek runs studios in Nottingham, Budapest, Sofia, Kiev and Seoul.
