Over 12500 game fans cast their votes in an online survey sponsored by Germany's highly popular GameStar and GamePro magazines, and selected Crysis as the winner of the GAMESTAR Award 2007 for "PC Game of the Year 2007" and "Best Shooter 2007"over other popular titles including Activision's Call of Duty 4, Bioware's Mass Effect and Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed .
