3+ years of professional game or similar programming experience
Worked on or shipped at least one AAA game
Fluent in C++, strong software engineering and debugging skills
Strong math background
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a similar degree or comparable experience
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
A passion for games and in particular for leveraging advanced animation technology to create an immersive game experience for the player
Develop and extend existing animation technologies
Develop and support the connections between the animation, AI and physics systems Work closely with designers & animators to create assets for player and AI-behavior
Previous experience with game animations (i.e. sports titles or fighting games) is required
Preferences:
Experience with IK/FK systems and facial animation
Master’s degree or higher
Xbox 360 or PS3 programming experience
Experience with STL
Experience with 3DS Max or similar DCCs
Experience with motion capture systems
Experience with multi-threading
Experience working on asset pipelines and tools
Passionate about making games
Responsibilities:
Support and extend existing animation technologies
Work with designers, animators and gameplay programmers to drive the integration of animations into the game
Drive interactions between the animation and physics systems to implement dynamic character behaviors
Contribute to the design and implementation of high-level animation systems to handle melee combat scenarios
Improve existing pipelines and design new ones according to game needs
