Given the quantity of applications we receive, we are unfortunately not able to contact people individually with specific feedback. If further information is needed, you will be contacted by Crytek with a request for further samples/documentation. If we think you are a capable candidate for our vacancy, we will contact you directly to further discuss your candidacy. If there isn't a fit at this time, we will send you an email informing you about our decision (this may take approximately 6 weeks).
Internships
- Unfortunately, our Internship program is limited to citizens of the European Union before 2004 due to German work permit regulations. That includes citizens holding passports of one of the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Spain, Sweden, and United Kingdom.
- Crytek offers internships in Art, Animation, Design, QA, and Engineering.
- General requirements:
- Experience in your preferred working area
- Submitting samples
- Showing interest in developing high-end games
- Completed high school, preferably college or any other professional education
- Ability to work in production cycle with as little supervision as possible
- Internships are limited, and are not available all the time in all areas.
- Our internships are paid.
School Internships
We are unfortunately not able to offer school internships.
Apprenticeship
Apprenticeships are only offered for Germans, as they require studying in school and exams in German.
We offer down-to-earth apprenticeships in Media-Design and for IT Specialists, supervised by the Chamber of Commerce Frankfurt.
Vacancy depends on internal needs.
Game/Story Ideas
Please do not send any kind of creative submission to Crytek. All of Crytek's ideas and stories are developed internally. We automatically return all creative material unopened and unread.
Doctor/Diploma thesis
Vacancy depends on production cycle.
Experience with private or industry projects is required.
Interview with Crytek Professionals for Students
Due to production demands, we cannot accommodate requests for informational interviews for student reports or similar reasons.
