Discover details of Cryteks work with VR at FMX 2015

Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, the FMX expo brings together art, technology and business for what its organizers call "Europe's most influential conference for digital entertainment."

Among the attendees at FMX 2015—which takes place in Stuttgart, Germany—will be our Creative Director for CRYENGINE, Frank Vitz. On Thursday, May 7th, Frank will give a talk as part of the FMX "Experimental Immersions" series from 16:30-17:30 in the host venue's Meidinger-Saal.

Frank's session will offer details on the challenges and opportunities the team here at Crytek is facing as we explore the emerging VR space. Attendees will also learn more about how we're integrating VR support into CRYENGINE, and can witness our work so far by trying out the "Back to Dinosaur Island" VR demo we first showcased at GDC 2015.

Boasting a wealth of experience in digital effects, Frank's career so far has seen him working on movies such as Stargate and the X-Men series, as well as game projects that include Dragon Age, Battlefield, and the Ignite and Frostbite game engines.

FMX 2015 takes place from May 5th-8th in Stuttgart's Haus der Wirtschaft. For more details visit www.fmx.de.
